Fudge Ingredients
- 3 3/4 cups (24 oz) white chocolate chips
- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sprinkles, divided
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line a 9×9 inch square pan with parchment paper ensuring the paper extends over the sides for easy removal of the fudge later.
- Melt the chocolate mixture: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for one minute, then stir thoroughly to help melt the chips. If the mixture is not smooth, microwave for additional 30-second intervals until completely melted and smooth.
- Add flavor and sprinkles: Stir in the vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of the sprinkles quickly to mix evenly into the white chocolate mixture.
- Spread in pan: Immediately pour and spread the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared parchment-lined pan using a spatula to smooth the top.
- Add topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of sprinkles evenly over the surface and gently press them into the top of the fudge to adhere.
- Chill to set: Refrigerate the fudge until fully cooled and firm, approximately 2 to 3 hours.
- Slice and store: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper edges. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container. The fudge can be kept either at room temperature or refrigerated for longer freshness.
Notes
- Microwave times may vary; watch carefully to avoid burning the chocolate.
- Using parchment paper makes it easier to remove fudge from the pan.
- Store fudge at room temperature in a cool, dry place for up to a week, or refrigerate to keep it fresh longer.
- You can customize the sprinkles to match any holiday or celebration.
- For a firmer fudge, refrigerate overnight.
