Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, loosely measured
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup spinach, frozen, thawed and liquid squeezed out

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the dip evenly.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, minced garlic, and 3/4 cup of the grated parmesan cheese. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients form a smooth, cohesive mixture.
  3. Prepare Baking Dish: Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or a similar-sized dish such as a glass pie dish to prevent sticking and ensure easy serving.
  4. Fill Baking Dish: Transfer the combined dip mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the dip for a flavorful, browned crust.
  6. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with crackers, slices of bread, or vegetable sticks for dipping.

Notes

  • Use fresh parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
  • Make sure to squeeze out excess moisture from the thawed spinach to prevent a watery dip.
  • This dip can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
  • For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated.
