Instructions

- Add Sugar and Vanilla: Incorporate the granulated sugar and vanilla extract into the butter, continuing to mix for an additional 1 minute to combine well.
- Mix in Flour and Chill Dough: Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix on low speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the dough just comes together. Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Prepare for Baking: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
- Scoop Cookie Dough: Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop out cookie dough balls. For best results, use a heaping scoop to be sure the dough will fully encase the chocolate Kiss.
- Shape Cookie Around Chocolate: Roll each dough scoop into a ball, then flatten it with your hands to a size that can comfortably wrap around one unwrapped Hershey Kiss.
- Encase the Kiss: Place an unwrapped kiss in the center of the flattened dough, then carefully fold the dough up and around the chocolate, sealing it completely.
