  • Author: Aiden
  • Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 popsicles 1x

Description

These Raspberry Frosé Poptails are a refreshing frozen treat that combines rosé wine with lemonade and fresh berries, perfect for cooling off on a warm day. Easy to make and delightful to enjoy, these popsicles offer a fun twist on the classic frosé cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale

Primary Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups Day Owl rosé wine
  • 1 3/4 cups lemonade
  • Raspberries and/or blackberries (quantity to fill molds, about 1/2 cup)
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Optional: Additional rosé for serving in glasses

Instructions

  1. Mix the base: In a medium bowl with a spout, combine the rosé and lemonade. Stir well until fully blended to create a smooth frosé base.
  2. Freeze partially: Pour the rosé-lemonade mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours, or until the mixture becomes just slushy but not fully solid.
  3. Add berries and sticks: Remove molds from the freezer. Add a small handful of raspberries and/or blackberries to each mold, pressing the berries down gently with the popsicle sticks. Insert the sticks evenly into each mold.
  4. Complete freezing: Return the molds to the freezer and continue freezing until the popsicles are fully solid, following the mold manufacturer’s recommended time.
  5. Serve: Remove the popsicles from the molds. Enjoy as is, or serve them in glasses of rosé for an extra indulgent presentation.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen berries according to availability; fresh berries provide a firmer texture.
  • If you want sweeter popsicles, use a lemonade with higher sugar content or add a tablespoon of simple syrup before freezing.
  • To easily remove popsicles, dip the molds briefly in warm water before pulling out.
  • For a more intense rosé flavor, consider reducing the lemonade to 1 1/2 cups.
