Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Wings
- 3½ to 4 lbs chicken wings
Seasoning and Coating
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ oz ranch seasoning (or 1½ packets)
Garnish and Serving
- Chopped fresh chives
- Ranch dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F to ensure it’s hot enough to create crispy wings.
- Coat the Wings: Toss the chicken wings thoroughly with the olive oil and ranch seasoning until each wing is fully coated, ensuring maximum flavor.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the wings out evenly on a large sheet pan lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking and allow for even cooking.
- Bake the Wings: Bake the wings for 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Then flip each wing over to crisp both sides evenly, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the wings from the oven, sprinkle chopped fresh chives over the top for a fresh burst of flavor, and serve immediately with ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
- Use parchment paper or a wire rack on the baking sheet to promote even airflow around the wings.
- Adjust ranch seasoning amount based on taste preference for milder or stronger flavors.
- Serve wings immediately for the best texture as they tend to soften if left to sit.
- Leftover wings can be reheated in the oven to regain crispiness.
