Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Ramekins: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place four 7-ounce oven-safe ramekins on a baking sheet and lightly grease each ramekin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. First Layer of Sauce: Spoon 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce into the bottom of one ramekin, spreading it evenly.
  3. Add Seasoning: Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the sauce to add flavor.
  4. Layer Cheese: Take a slice of mozzarella cheese, tuck its corners so it fits inside the ramekin, and place it on top of the sauce.
  5. Add Pepperoni: Arrange 5 pepperoni slices in a circle over the cheese layer.
  6. Add Sausage: Sprinkle a portion of the cooked ground Italian sausage evenly over the pepperoni.
  7. Add Vegetables: Top the sausage with diced bell peppers followed by diced onions, layering the flavors.
  8. Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering steps: add another spoonful of pizza sauce, sprinkle Italian seasoning if desired, layer cheese, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, and onions again, finishing with the peppers on top.
  9. Fill Remaining Ramekins: Repeat steps 2 through 8 to fill all four ramekins.
  10. Bake: Cover each ramekin loosely with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes to heat through and meld flavors.
  11. Finish Baking: Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  12. Alternative Heating Methods: Alternatively, microwave each ramekin in 30-second increments until hot, or air fry at 350°F for 10-15 minutes for a crispier finish.
