Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 ears fresh corn on the cob
- Butter, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste (or other preferred seasonings)
Instructions
- Prepare the Grill: Oil the cooking grates to prevent sticking and preheat the grill to medium-high heat, approximately 300 to 350ºF.
- Husk the Corn: Remove all husks and silks from each ear of corn to prepare them for grilling.
- Grill the Corn: Place the ears of corn directly on the oiled cooking grates. Cook for about 14 minutes total, turning the corn every 2 to 3 minutes to ensure even cooking and charring. Keep the grill lid closed between turns to maintain heat.
- Season and Serve: Remove the corn from the grill and immediately season with butter, salt, pepper, or any other preferred seasonings. Serve hot.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the corn with the husks on, soaking them in water first to prevent burning.
- Butter can be flavored with herbs or spices to add extra taste.
- Adjust cooking time based on grill heat and size of corn ears.
- If you prefer a charred finish, increase grill heat slightly but watch carefully to avoid burning.
