Dry Ingredients
- 170 gm All-Purpose Flour
- 100 gm Powdered Sugar
Dairy & Flavoring
- 120 gm Salted Butter
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1/2 tsp Golden Butter Flavour
Instructions
- Prepare Butter Mixture: In a mixing bowl, take 120 gm of salted butter and begin whisking it to soften and aerate.
- Add Fresh Cream: Incorporate 1 tbsp fresh cream into the butter and continue whisking until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, ensuring a creamy base.
- Sweeten the Mix: Gradually add 100 gm powdered sugar into the butter and cream blend, mixing thoroughly for an even sweetness.
- Enhance Flavor: Add ½ tsp of golden butter flavor to the mixture to deepen the buttery aroma and taste.
- Combine Dry Ingredients and Milk: Add 170 gm all-purpose flour and 3 tbsp milk to the mixture. Mix everything together gently until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing to keep the dough tender.
- Prepare for Piping: Transfer the soft dough into a piping bag fitted with an N1 or 1M nozzle, ready for shaping the cookies.
- Pipe Rosette Shapes: On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, pipe the dough into delicate rosette cookie shapes, spacing them evenly to allow expansion during baking.
- Bake the Cookies: Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Place the tray inside and bake the cookies for 15 minutes until they turn slightly golden and firm.
- Cool the Cookies: Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool on the tray itself. As they cool, they will become crisp and hold their shape.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once fully cooled, the eggless rosette butter cookies are ready to be served with tea or coffee, showcasing a crisp texture and rich flavor.
Notes
- Use a piping bag with the recommended nozzle for authentic rosette shapes.
- Ensure the butter is softened but not melted for best whisking results.
- Do not overmix the dough to maintain a tender texture.
- Cool the cookies completely on the tray for maximum crispiness.
- Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for up to a week.
- You can substitute salted butter with unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt if preferred.
