Ingredients
Scale
Salmon Bites
- 1 pound salmon, cut into 1 inch cubes, skin removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Sides & Garnish
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups cooked broccoli
- 4 lemon wedges
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which will help them crisp up in the air fryer.
- Season the salmon: Place the cubed salmon in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and stir gently to coat each piece evenly. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the salmon and stir again until all cubes are well seasoned.
- Air fry the salmon: Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange the salmon bites in a single layer to ensure even cooking. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6-7 minutes, shaking the basket gently halfway through to brown the salmon evenly. Cook until salmon is opaque and cooked through.
- Serve: In a shallow bowl or plate, arrange the cooked rice and broccoli. Top with the air fried salmon bites, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top, and serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over just before eating for added freshness and flavor.
Notes
- Ensure salmon cubes are dried well to get a nice crispy exterior.
- You can adjust Cajun seasoning amount depending on your spice preference.
- Use any cooked rice and steamed or roasted broccoli as preferred for the side.
- For a crispier texture, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
- Leftover salmon bites can be refrigerated and reheated in the air fryer or oven for best texture.
